Nautholsvik is the Icelands only beach which is suitable for enthusiasts who want to take a bath in the water. This exotic beach is located in the coast of Reyjavik, where the temperature of the water is relatively comfortable. This is due to hot water which is being pumped in; the Atlantic Ocean has been heated up to create warm water spots in the sea. The temperature of the water is maintained to an average of 20 degree all year round.
The Nautholsvik thermal beach is open during the summer months from 10 am to 8 pm. It is one of the most clean and warm sea beaches which is close to the city centre.
